A Distant World's Struggle
Far from our planet, a small colony struggles to recover from a pair of disasters that threw it into turmoil. Divided into feuding nations, a small group of technological experts struggle to keep the peace. Well, that's what the mages would say. Others would argue that they are inhibiting the natural growth of the world, and their actions will inevitably lead to a larger conflict. Others of a more democratic bent would remind us all that these magicians were self-appointed as final arbiters and governors, with no influence by the "little people" they'd rule over.
A greater danger lurks off-planet: evil space pirates, the scourge of the reconstructed colonies, threaten the (relative) peace and order, as well as the freedom of the peoples below. Perhaps the mages have helped protect the colony in some ways, but in others they have allowed it to fall behind. How can they possibly hope to defeat such a foe, should he choose to descend?
Mindy Adele Taylor, being a quite bright young woman, is aware of these matters, but her chiefest worry now is to keep her little team of flying surveyors in some reasonable state of order, while looking after a not-so-bright heiress. If she does well, she may see her career soaring to the stars (literally- she might get a trip to the orbital stations).
If not, well, someone needs to serve the coffee and do the typing.

This is Colony 12, my big comic project. I've put a lot of work into it, but I have a lot more work to do. You'll notice that it seems a bit sparse in here- well, that's because I'm still getting the comic ready. I've tried my best to make the webpages load quickly, but I will have to add some images here and there to spice things up.
As with all works in progress, there will be changes as time passes, hopefully for the better. Feel free to contact me via the contact page, or via the forum if there's anything that comes to mind about the comic or the site in general.

In order to get a better feel for the comic, I have placed as much backstory and supporting information as I can. Hopefully this will help some things make sense [though I suspect some things in the comic never will, however]

From time to time, I must practice various techniques, and try to get better as an artist and storyteller. By clicking here, you can have a look at some of my practice efforts.
